Veritas Guard Compliance, Chaos into Clarity.
Designing and building an AI-first risk management platform for modern financial teams, banks, and regulatory bodies.
The Challenge
VeritasGuard was conceived for financial institutions and compliance teams drowning in manual processes static rule engines that broke on edge cases, fragmented case queues with no audit trail, and analysts spending hours per day reading raw transaction logs instead of making decisions.
The core tension: compliance is a high-stakes, regulated environment where every AI action must be explainable, every decision must be traceable, and the UI must give analysts total confidence not confusion. The existing market was split between expensive legacy enterprise software and raw analytics dashboards that required deep technical knowledge to interpret.
Traditional rule-based compliance systems flag everything or miss everything. They can't adapt to behavioral patterns, account for context, or explain why a transaction was flagged.
Compliance teams spend 70%+ of their time on data retrieval, manual case setup, and copy-pasting between systems leaving only 30% for the actual judgment calls they're hired to make.
The Solution: AI-First Compliance Design
VeritasGuard replaces fragile rule engines with adaptive AI behavioral models paired with a UX built around explainability, audit readiness, and human-in-the-loop control at every step. The platform was designed and built as a production-ready MVP using Figma Make for rapid UI scaffolding and Claude Code for full-stack implementation.

We design and ship compliance-ready, AI-powered SaaS platforms in 24 weeks.
01 Intelligent Risk Dashboard
The primary command surface. Real-time risk scores, transaction anomaly heatmaps, and a live case queue give analysts a single source of truth without context switching. Every metric traces back to its underlying data no black boxes.
02 AI-Guided CSV Upload & Pattern Detection
Analysts upload transaction datasets via a guided CSV flow. The AI automatically maps columns to compliance schema, runs a pre-scan for known anomaly patterns, and surfaces immediate findings before the analyst has opened a single row.
03 Advanced Case Management (Human-in-the-Loop)
Every flagged transaction becomes a structured case. AI generates a natural language summary of why the transaction was flagged, what behavioral model triggered it, and how similar cases were previously resolved. Analysts approve, escalate, or override and every action is logged permanently.
04 AI Risk Simulator
Before deploying new risk models to production, compliance teams test parameters against historical data in the sandbox simulator. It shows false positive rates, detection coverage, and model confidence so teams tune with confidence, not guesswork.
05 Compliance Hub & Regulatory Readiness
Centralized governance tracking across FATF and SOC2 frameworks. Every regulation maps to a status, an owner, and a set of evidence records. When an auditor asks for documentation, it's one click not a week of email chains.
06 VeritasGuard AI Chat (Claude Sonnet)
A context-aware compliance assistant embedded in the platform. Analysts ask natural language questions "Show me all flagged transactions from accounts opened in the last 30 days" and get immediate, data-backed answers without writing a single filter or query.
